Dready Dreams is a piece of my heart that I get to share with the world.
What started six years ago as a love for the art of locs has grown into a dream I’ve poured so much of myself into. Every hour spent learning my craft, every set created by hand, every tiny detail I obsess over, and every person who has trusted me with a piece of themselves has helped shape Dready Dreams into what it is today.
I’ve always believed there is something incredibly beautiful about being unapologetically yourself. Not following a mold. Not looking like everyone else. Just having the freedom to express whatever lives inside of you on the outside. Locs gave me a way to create that kind of art, and somehow, along the way, they also gave me a way to connect with people.
When you sit in my chair, I don’t want you to feel like another appointment on my calendar. I want to know what you love, what catches your eye, what feels like you. You might come in with every detail already pictured, or you might give me a handful of colors and an idea and say, “Do your thing.” Either way, we create it together.
That’s one of the things I treasure most about what I do. I get to take something that once existed only in someone’s imagination and slowly watch it become real in my hands. And when I finally turn that chair around and see their face light up? That means something to me. Every single time.
Dready Dreams is still growing, just like I am. But no matter how far this dream goes, I never want to lose what made me fall in love with it in the first place—the connection, the artistry, the freedom to create, and the love that goes into every piece of my work.
